July 2020 News!

Through the uncertainties of the current year we kept dreaming and planning what our a.s.b.l. would be like and …at long last… here we are with a taster of our activities. Read on or just navigate to our website by clicking here.

From September we are proposing a selection of activities designed with our younger students in mind.

We listened to what many of you were interested in, so we are very excited that Vlasta Moman, an AMI certified educator, has joined our team. She will be proposing weekly Montessori workshops aimed at children aged 2.5+. The 2-hour long sessions, will run each Saturday from 1pm. The group will welcome a limited number of students so enroll early to avoid disappointment.

The range of our activities continues with drama sessions, led by Nicola Dereham, who specialises in Theatre for Young Audiences. Drawing on ideas from the children themselves, as well as from the world around them, she aims to stimulate young imaginations through music, drama, movement, and storytelling, and to develop their ideas into creative work. She will be leading hourly sessions on Saturday afternoons for groups of children aged 3-5, 6-9 and 10-14. Please refer to our timetable for further details and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like some more information or to enroll in one of her groups.

Our music programme is quite rich, spanning from Suzuki guitar courses accompanied by theory solfège training through Dalcroze Eurhythmics, to standalone harp individual lessons and Dalcroze Eurhythmics group lessons. The methodologies in which our teachers specialise are appropriate for the youngest children and draw on their natural enthusiasm for learning by doing. Spaces are limited so contact us to enquire about availability.

You can find more specific information on our offer and about the credentials of our team on our website. We will have more for you to discover in the months to come, so why don’t you subscribe to receive our updates? Visit our website click on “Follow” and leave your email address…done!

If you are interested in joining us on this new adventure, as a student or as an educator, we would be delighted to hear from you.
